I don't think it would be as bad as the shrillness said it would be, or any much worse than it had already become. <BR/><BR/>However, now, the American taxpayer is stuck. Who is to say that the bankruptcy court wouldn't strike out GM's debt to the government. <BR/><BR/>Five years ago, there were three GM vehicles in the driveway. Now, two are Subaru and the third is needed to pull the fifth wheel travel trailer.
